Ford's V-10 chassis came out in 1999. Since then, it has been upgraded multiple times with the addition of Bilstein shocks in '04 and a front track bar in '06, the 3 valve motor with more power and torque and a 5 and 6 sp transmission, along with lowering the motor in the chassis to give a lower doghouse. With these improvements by the factory, we still have room to make significant improvements in Ride Quality and Handling.

 Handling Improvements
1) The addition of an auxiliary rear sway bar with integrated track bar that is a supplement to the factory rear bar.

 2) The replacement of the original front sway bar with a larger bar made of Hot Formed 4140 cr-moly steel.
Ride Quality Improvement
We also offer Mor/Ryde suspension kits. These kits change the coach from riding on steel springs to riding on a rubber spring. This changes the dynamics of the suspension operation and gives great ride quality. *Note: Will not fit all chassis due to coach manufacturer changes and add ons.
Driving Safety
Safe-T-Plus Steering Control is a great safety device to help protect against the hazards faced during a front tire blowout. In the event of a blowout, Safe-T-Plus is designed to absorb the energy and keep your vehicle in your lane.
Mor/Ryde SRL Front suspension kit. *May not fit all chassis due to coach manufacturer changes* Please inquire
about your specific application.

We use red units on all F-53 chassis. We have found that this unit provides the centering needed for this chassis, along with the blowout protection you need and want. We also have one bracket for the F-53 V-10 that fits all chassis. This makes ordering and mounting simple.
The addition of "aftermarket" Bilstein shocks makes a great ride quality improvement. These shocks feature a different piston design and different valving from the OEM Bilstein shock. This gives a much nicer ride especially on bridge transitions and concrete highways
Do not confuse different to mean a lower quality with the OEM shock, Bilstein just does not sell the aftermarket piston, valving design to manufacturers.
Ford has now stopped using Bilstein shocks on the F 53 V-10 chassis. They will offer them as a option only until 2017 then the only shock available will be the motorcraft shock.
